Bruce’s approach to financial planning is comprehensive. He uses the Six Step Financial Planning Process. This personal approach to financial planning delivers solutions that are tailored to each client’s unique financial situation and goals.
Bruce attended McMaster University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and his Master’s of Business Administration. Prior to joining Bick Financial, Bruce spent 36 years at Dofasco in several senior management positions.
Bruce’s clients benefit from the depth of experience and his ability to explain even the most complicated financial strategies. In addition to the prestigious CIM designation, Bruce holds his Mutual Fund and Life Insurance licenses.
Bruce has also attained his Certified Senior Advisor, CSA™ designation. He has taken this educational initiative to become a professional leader in meeting the key needs and issues concerning senior citizens. In Canada, seniors (age 65 and older) number almost four million and will continue to rapidly increase, leading a shift in population distribution by age never before seen. This demographic shift requires an educated response to work with the challenges and opportunities seniors face, whether financial, medical, or social.
Bruce lives in Ancaster with his wife Jean. Their two children, Leigh and Greg, attend the University of Western in London, Ontario. Bruce and Jean enjoy skiing, golfing and traveling.
Bruce, being a Rotarian, is an active member of his community. He supports several cultural and sports organizations and is currently serving on the board of directors of the Bick Financial Junior Golf Tour.
