What Clients can Expect

Each Bick Financial client receives the same service oriented experience. We believe that a truly rewarding relationship requires an understanding from both parties. Our Client Bill of Rights is a document that all of our clients receive; it details the Bick Financial relationship experience.

Detailed Planning:
Our relationship with each client starts with a detailed financial plan that outlines where they are today, where they want to go and how we are going to help them get there.

Range of Advice:
The financial plan is comprehensive and includes investment, insurance, tax and estate planning considerations for each client. As required, we work closely with accountants and lawyers and tap into our own network of professionals as necessary.

Quality of Advice and Service:

Bick Financial is independent and therefore not tied to any company's products or services. Our clients receive the advice that is precisely right for them.

Our Advisors are highly qualified, with post-graduate degrees and/or professional designations combined with years of experience. We are supported by a dedicated, qualified team of administrative and client service professionals. We spend a great deal of time with our clients and working on their accounts.

Our Advisors are members of Advocis, the Mutual Fund Dealer Association (MFDA), the Independent Brokers of Canada (IFB), the Institute of Advanced Financial Planning (IAFP) and the Certified Financial Planners Council (CFPC).

Investment Philosophy:
We take a conservative approach to investing, developing diversified portfolios to meet client objectives without undue risk.

Tax Planning:
This should be a key aspect of financial planning for most clients. We evaluate the prudent use of registered investments, leverage, labour-sponsored funds and income splitting opportunities..

Performamce Reporting:
Clients receive quarterly summaries of performance, presented as clearly as possible. The format is reviewed with all new clients to ensure they know how to read results.

Monitoring:
Each client's account is monitored regularly to ensure long-term results according to their financial plan. We monitor investments daily, client accounts quarterly, and financial plans annually.

Accessibilty:
We make ourselves as accessible as possible. All telephone calls are returned within 24 hours, either by the Advisor or their assistant.

Communication:
We believe that our best client is one who is fully informed. We maintain regular contact through meetings, telephone calls and e-mail. We also provide newsletters, timely market updates, informational seminars and other client events. Our clients also have access to our extensive financial library.
