Introducing Burgeonvest Bick Corporation (BBC)

We are pleased to announce a strategic combination with Burgeonvest Financial Corporation. Burgeonvest and Bick have merged their respective investment operating companies into an enterprise specializing in full service investment advisory and wealth management as of December 31, 2007. The combined enterprise is called Burgeonvest Bick Corporation (BBC).

The two companies will continue to operate as separate businesses under their original names, Bick Financial Security Corporation and Burgeonvest Securities Limited.

"For clients who are looking for a full suite of services and products," notes Mario Frankovich, CEO of both Bick Financial Security Corporation and Burgeonvest Financial Corporation, "they can find those through BBC. These offerings will be facilitated formally with a clear understanding of which business entity clients are dealing with."

"We have known Mario since 1985," said Clarence Bick, reflecting on the deep roots of the merger, "and have made a point over the last 15 years of regularly meeting to discuss industry issues."

Co-founder Leonard Bick adds, "this new enterprise will provide an independent alternative to banks and other integrated large financial institutions, which have a potential conflict of interest due to their broad influence and control over firms providing advice to Canadians. We believe that independence is important for our clients and that is what BBC intends to deliver."

With the combined resources of Bick Financial Security Corporation and Burgeonvest Securities Limited, we can better serve our clients going forward.               ____________________________________________________

*This strategy involves leveraging. Leveraging or borrowing to invest is suitable only for investors with higher risk tolerances. You should be fully aware of the risks and benefits associated with investment loans since losses as well as gains can be magnified. The value of your investment will vary and is not guaranteed, however you must meet your loan and income tax obligations and repay your loan in full. Consult with your financial advisor.
